A bit about the house
Very comfortable double bedroom and ensuite bathroom with private entrance. The garden kitchen room can be enjoyed year round providing simple cooking facilities, dining table and armchairs. There is an area for alfresco meals, a small herb garden and deck chairs to enjoy the spectacular views. The owners, Bill and Jenny Higgs live next door - very discreet but on hand to help if needed.
Popular for short (2 nights minimum) or longer stays, Côté Jardin includes kitchen, washing machine, heating and plenty of space to relax on the lawn or in the shade of the trees.
Each morning we will leave a copious breakfast basket containing fresh produce including eggs from the garden and freshly squeezed orange juice for you to wake up to.
Downstairs
This room which we call the 'garden kitchen' maximizes your feel good factor since you're inside but with a strong feeling of being outside connected with nature - simply quite magical! There is a fridge, basic cooking facilities and a couple of armchairs. It's heated and is very cozy even during the winter months. This is like glamping at its very best!
Outside
A large lawn and garden with wonderful views of the Auxois countryside; great for tanning or star gazing since we're privileged in having no light pollution. Parking for your car is close by in the courtyard.
